Global Warming Revisited...

Post by sWamp-Ass on Thu Nov 29, 2012 5:47 pm

Facts some of you wish not to acknowledge.

First fact; Everyone and every animal affects the environment, changes it, removes some things and adds others. This is a fact. This is life. Now, if you don't want the planet to change, then all life from it must be removed, and yet it will still change.

Second fact; You see, despite mankind, the climate has been changing for millions and billions of years. Ice ages come and go. They even existed before man. Climate change, in any direction is normal and natural and nothing can be done to stop it.

Third fact; Co2 theory is bunk. If you buy into the global warming/Co2 theory then you must ask yourself, what percent of the atmosphere is Co2. The answer is apprx. 2%. (from Nasa's website). Then you must ask yourself what of this 2% Co2 is there due to the activities of man. The answer is again, apprx. 2%. Do the math; .02X.02-.0004.... This is man's contribution to the Co2 in the atmosphere. Not a whole heck of a lot.

Fourth Fact; Let's not even mention the fact that the earth's temp. has been steady for the last 16 years.

Fifth Fact; the biggest greenhouse gas is water vapor.

Final Fact; The biggest contributor to climate change is the activity of the sun, not pollution, not man, not capitalism, ¬ anything we can control or change.

“I emphasize that there is still zero empirical evidence that anthropogenic production of CO2 is making any measurable contribution to the world’s present warming trend….”

Quote from the notorious PRO-Global Warming Guru Dr. James Hansen of NASA GISS,

“Its the Sun stupid!”

Astrophysicist Dr. Willie Soon of Harvard University.

Soon is a strong advocate of the Sun’s influence on our climate that is evident from the sunspot record. That record is the longest scientific record kept by man, dating from Galileo in 1610."

"The head of the Climate Research Unit in Britain, Phil Jones, reportedly contemplated suicide, and admitted to a lack of warming since 1995."

and

The Al Gore crowd lives on another planet, and no evening is long enough to persuade them that they should learn something about science, or even respect its methods."

Petition to Obama here, signed by hundreds of scientists;

"We, the undersigned scientists, maintain that the case for alarm regarding climate change is grossly overstated. Surface temperature changes over the past century have been episodic and modest and there has been no net global warming for over a decade now.1,2 After controlling for population growth and property values, there has been no increase in damages from severe weather-related events.3 The computer models forecasting rapid temperature change abjectly fail to explain recent climate behavior.4 Mr. President, your characterization of the scientific facts regarding climate change and the degree of certainty informing the scientific debate is simply incorrect."

Gordon J. Fulks, Ph.D. in physics from the University of Chicago, Laboratory for Astrophysics and Space Research.
