Ryan Vs. Obama Vs. Gary Johnson.

Post by sWamp-Ass on Mon Aug 13, 2012 10:07 am

Obama's greatest flip-flops;

"Most transparent administration ever."
No more earmarks.
All bills will go online 5 days before vote.
To "cut the deficit in half."
Fix the economy in 3 years or be a "one term president."
Close Gitmo*
To televise healthcare debates.
Said Bush was ‘unpatriotic’ to add $4 trillion in debt. Obama has added a record $5 trillion in new debt, more than any president in American history.
No budget, ever.
Against Patriot Act yet resigned it.
"If you choose change, you will have a nominee who doesn't take a dime from Washington lobbyists and PACs,” GE's Jeffrey Immelt is his economic advisor.
Obama pledged that Americans making less than $250,000 would not see "any form of tax increase." ObamaCare has 3.8% tax on home sales over 250K raised taxes on tobacco and tanning salons, etc.
Promised to send people to the moon by 2020 (yes he did, remember that one?).

There's more here; http://www.businessinsider.com/9-campaign-promises-that-obama-has-broken-2012-3?op=1

*“As president, I will close Guantanamo, reject the Military Commissions Act, and adhere to the Geneva Conventions. Our Constitution and our Uniform Code of Military Justice provide a framework for dealing with the terrorists.”—Obama, August 2007 (USSA News & World Report, 10/28/2011)

Things Paul Ryan Voted for;

Iraq War,
NDAA (lock you up/tap your phones w/out Bill of Rights protections),
Medicare Part D,
Libya funding
Ryan's voted for all of the following;
Making Permanent the Patriot Act/surveillance w/out warrant.
TARP
National Id card
GM bailout
Chrysler bailout
Medicare expansion
NCLB
2008 stimulus
2009 stimulus
Housing Subsidies
Unemployment extensions
No Child Left Behind
Keeping Troops in Iraq
Against medical marijuana
Budget Spending more than Ron Paul's or Gary Johnson's proposed budgets.

If you want to continue the good work of Obama and Bush, Romney and Ryan are just what you need.

Ryan's Budget never proposed actually REDUCING TOTAL spending!
All he actually proposed was continuing the INCREASE in spending under Obama a little less than the Democrats!

Under each plan here is what the debt will be by 2021;

Obama = 26.3 TRILLION
Ryan = 23.1 TRILLION

Either way, we lose. Here it is on a graphic;

There are other alternatives, like voting with your clear conscience, like choosing neither. Gary Johnson's is on the ballot in ALL 50 STATES!

Gary Johnson's positions;

Abolish the TSA; let Patriot Act expire.
No bank bailoutS; no farm subsidies; no stimulus.
Cut federal budget by 43% to bring it into balance.
Our debt is greatest threat to our national security.
Opposed TARP, stimulus & Fannie Mae bailout.
End the Fed; they've devalued the dollar by printing money.
On verge of financial collapse unless we balance budget.
Balance budget by cutting entitlements AND Defense.
Uphold commitments to states before other spending.
We can no longer afford to shell out billions in foreign aid.
No foreign aid spending unless it protects USSA interests.
Laws regarding guns are ineffective.
Eliminate corporate income tax as real way to create jobs.
Legalizing drugs cuts crime.
Legalize marijuana instead of 1.8 million arrests and $70B.
End the Department of Education.
No student loans; they cause higher tuition.
No compromise on clean air, but no cap-and-trade.
Gov'ts don't create jobs--businesses do.
Replace tax system with a FairTax. (Sep 2011)
Opposed the Iraq War from the beginning.

Case against Paul Ryan (feel free to cut and paste);

Ryan's Budget "fiscally conservative?" Ryan's budget never proposed actually REDUCING TOTAL spending!

All Ryan's budget proposed was continuing the INCREASE in spending under Obama a little less than the Democrats originally wanted!

Under each plan here is what the debt will be by 2021;

Obama = 26.3 TRILLION
Ryan = 23.1 TRILLION

Either way, we bust. Here it is on a graphic;
