To All The NeoCons Who Hate Ron Paul's Foreign Policy...

Even Netanyahu Says Israel Doesnít Need Our Troops, Why Canít Ron Paul Say It?

Ron Paulís foreign policy must be nuts, butÖ how do all you NEO-CONS explain the fact that Ron Paul gets more donations from the Military than all the Newt Romneys and Mitt Gingriches RINOs combined???

1.5 million civilians directly died in Iraq from 1990 to 2003 due to lack of food and medicine because of the UN security council sanctions which were spearheaded by the united states. UNICEF estimates 500,000 were children. That's not even counting all of the bombs we have dropped, dictators we have propped up, and governments our CIA has overthrown since the early 50's. Pick up a book stop being a warmongering parrot and think for a chance, read the facts and make up your own mind. How would you feel if hundreds of your friends starved to death and died from disease because a bunch of foreign muslims prevented goods from being imported to the USSA? Do you think you would hate and distrust muslims?

A 1995 FAO report stated that 567,000 Iraqi children died as a result of sanctions. Look at that date! 1995!!! And, that is only counting children. In 1996 Madeline Albright was asked about this. Not only did she not deny the number, but she said the price was worth it!

Don't forget, we continued the sanctions and bombing of Iraq between the years 1995 and 2003 when the official Iraq War started, most estimates for this period are in the hundreds of thousands. All reports after 2003 are in the hundreds of thousands. From 2003 to 2006 most estimates were over 100,000, although there is the IBP that claims only 113,000 for years 2003 to 2011. An ORB report estimates 1,033,000 for the period of 2003-2008.

I don't think that it is all a stretch to make the statement that the United States have killed over 1 million Iraqis between the years 1990 and 2011. Also, keep in mind most of these reports are only counting civilian deaths.

Maybe we should stay in Iraq for 100 years. The only question is how are we going to fund it? We can't even afford the bases we have now outside of Iraq. It is not our country and we should not have gone there in the first place. Iraq needs to defend herself if she is attacked. We should not be the policeman of the world. Once the dollar fails this will be a closed discussion, because we won't be able to afford it.

did we stop the indians from getting nukes?

did we stop the paks from getting nukes?

did we stop the koreans from getting nukes?

did we stop some guys with boxcutters from highjacking and crashing planes?

no, no, no, no

yet you think we can stop iran from nuking the world...good luck with that.

Why dont you, and bachmann and santorum and all the rest just go to the only remedy there is to insure iran does not become a nuclear threat? Nuke'em first. In the end that is the only thing that will insure the safety of israel. So quit pussyfooting around.

And while your at it good ahead and nuke the north koreans...after all they have threatened to nuke us. lets get them first right?

Re: To All The NeoCons Who Hate Ron Paul's Foreign Policy...

Ron Paul is often chided by his Republican opponents for his extreme views on American foreign policy. His calls for ending all foreign wars and shutting hundreds of military bases across the globe have drawn howls from his GOP rivals, who have labeled the moves irresponsible and naÔve.
His campaign pledge of cutting all foreign aid and withdrawing USSA participation in the World Trade Organization and the United Nations has been at odds with even the most conservative members of his own party.
Yet as voting day in Iowa and New Hampshire draws near, Paul, the Congressman from Texas, is finding support for his non-interventionist positions from a growing number of foreign policy experts.
ďHeís attacking our rich lazy friends, why is that not more popular,Ē said Harvey Sapolsky, emeritus professor of public policy and organization at MIT. He backs Paulís calls for reducing Americaís military budget, arguing that much of it is used to defend wealthy nationsí security.
A huge, Cold War-era global presence ó with hundreds of overseas military bases ó isnít necessary, now that the Soviet threat is over and the collapse of communism, Sapolsky said.
ďItís not in Americaís interest,Ē said Sapolsky, who added that despite the drumbeat in the media over the fear of terrorism, America is the safest it has ever been in its history.
